I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice–prepared clinician and a double board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice and Psychiatric–Mental Health. Since 2009, I have built a strong clinical foundation within respected healthcare systems, including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente, and have provided outpatient care in Family Practice, Pain Management, Surgical Services, and Psychiatric–Mental Health for adolescent through geriatric populations.

Education & Academic Excellence

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Coast University in Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. During my undergraduate studies, I was selected for the prestigious Oxford University Honors Program—an opportunity awarded to only 12 students among the top 3% of the university.

I continued my graduate studies at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, where I earned my Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner and maintained academic distinction as a member of the Mervyn M. Dymally School of Nursing Honors Society.

I completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice with a specialty in Psychiatric–Mental Health, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.

My Journey Into Mental Health Care

I began my nursing career at 19 years old and have spent years witnessing the profound impact psychiatric conditions have on individuals and families. Throughout my work in family practice, pain management, and surgical services, I continually observed the unmet need for accessible, compassionate, and evidence-based mental health care. This recognition ultimately led me to specialize in Psychiatric–Mental Health.
